Conservation and research
The Parco Zoo Punta Verde has been dedicated to conservation for many years. In this context, conservation means preserving a specific environment and consequently the animal and plant species present within it, known as biodiversity.
With this in mind, the zoo has established partnerships aimed at supporting research and conservation in the wild, and, naturally, at improving its own ex situ breeding techniques.
The zoo also educates its visitors about the surrounding environment and encourages respect for it, while also supporting research activities through collaborations with universities, NGOs and research centres.
