With less than 90,000 giraffes remaining in the wild, it’s time to take action to secure the future of this species. The Parco Zoo Punta Verde, in collaboration with the Punta Verde In Situ ONLUS organisation, contributes to protecting giraffes by donating part of the admission fee to the GIRAFFE CONSERVATION FOUNDATION, a foundation dedicated to giraffe conservation based in Namibia. This donation enables the purchase of equipment for field research such as satellite collars and camera traps, and the implementation of educational projects to raise awareness among young Namibians about the importance of respecting and conserving nature.
