ACCESSIBILITY
The Parco Zoo Punta Verde is laid out over a flat area and therefore does not present obstacles for those with reduced mobility.
However, some areas have a slope that could make access difficult, particularly for people in wheelchairs if not assisted by a companion. These areas are highlighted with a red line on the downloadable map.
Disabled toilets are available at the entrance and near the reptile house.
Disabled parking spaces are available in the main car park.
Access to the Zoo’s entrance ramp is restricted by a hydraulic bollard which can be lowered by an intercom call for access for people with reduced mobility.
Picnic areas with priority for those with reduced mobility are marked by signs on the tables themselves.
If there are queues at the ticket office, special signs permit those with reduced mobility to go to the front of the queue.
Wheelchairs can be hired from the Zoovenir shop at a cost of €5.00, and can be booked by phone or email.
